This policy explains what information CBG Tuner ("the App") collects, how it's used, and your choices. CBG Tuner is a tuner for cigar box guitars, with support for common 3-string and 4-string tunings, custom tunings, and calibration.
The App uses your device's microphone to detect the pitch of notes you play, so it can show you the tuning needle and note reading. This audio is processed entirely on your device in real time — it is never recorded, saved, transmitted, or stored anywhere, by us or any third party. You can deny or revoke microphone access at any time in your device settings; without it, the tuner itself won't function, since that's the App's core purpose.
If you save favorite tunings or build a custom tuning, that information is stored locally on your device only. It is not transmitted to us or to any server, and we have no access to it. Clearing the App's storage (via your device's app settings) removes this data permanently.
If you purchase the App, that transaction is processed entirely by Google Play. We do not receive or store your payment card details — see Google's Privacy Policy for how they handle payment information.
As of the date above, the App does not use any third-party analytics or advertising SDKs, and does not track your usage. If this changes in a future update, this policy will be updated accordingly.
The App is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Since all tuning data lives locally on your device, you're always in control of it — clear the App's storage at any time through your device settings to remove it.
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
